Avant brings extensive experience and leadership skills to the firm. With over 35 years of tax, accounting, financial and family office experience, Michael has the key skills and knowledge to assist and advise existing and potential new clients.
Michael brings a valuable and unique perspective to the firm as he began working for a Big 8 accounting firm then transitioned to being a client of various accounting firms for 30 years. He thrives on seeing both his clients and associates achieve success and is passionate about coaching young professionals to help them develop their careers and become future leaders.
Avant obtained a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University and a MBA in Accounting from the University of Texas. He is in involved in several organizations such as FENG (Financial Executives Networking Group), AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), Lakewood Methodist Church, Arch Aerial LLC and Kiwanis.
