Weinstein Spira, the mid-market public accounting firm for Houston’s top high net worth individuals and privately held businesses, is proud to announce the promotion of four leaders within the firm.
Tobias McFaul promoted to Senior Tax Manager. McFaul joined Weinstein Spira in 2003. In his former role as a tax manager, he co-founded the Canada-Texas Chamber of Commerce. He will continue leading and developing relationships with the international community, structuring new and existing entities and assisting his clients as those ventures develop.
Karl Wolpert promoted to Senior Tax Manager. Wolpert has been with Weinstein Spira for eight years. He specializes in offering exceptional service to his clients in the real estate, professional services and distribution industries.
Ben Cotlar promoted to Audit Manager. Formerly serving as an audit supervisor, Cotlar will play a more prominent role in developing new staff accountants on technical matters. He provides comprehensive audit services to clients in many different industries, always focusing on client satisfaction.
Yitz Kolodny promoted to Tax Manager. Kolodny, previously a tax supervisor, joined the firm in 2015 after working at public accounting firms in New York and California. He focuses on corporate and individual taxation and enjoys developing new accountants on evolving tax laws and complex client issues.
